Currently the manager of a little shop in town called Needful Things..willing to leave my job to pursue my dreams

Description of Apprenticeship:

Hello! My name is Cori Berlin, I am 22 and live in a small, crafty, eclectic town in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Jewelry has been my passion as long as I can remember. When I was 17 I chased after my first job, a jewelry store in Frederick, Md called Sky's The Limit. This job was the foundation of my knowledge of jewelry, I learned not only do I love the craftsmanship and stones, but I love being part of that experience of helping another person find their "perfect piece". I left Frederick to go to school and got a job at another jewelry store called Mary Adams. I was her only employee for 2 years, and left because I needed to learn more! I have always treated my job like my education. I found Cari Rosin, a jeweler in Shepherdstown, she didn't have any employees, so I convinced her that she needed me. I ran the shop while she was at her work bench, I was able to learn so much more from her, metalwork and soldering. After realizing that I could look at any piece of jewelry and tell you exactly how it was crafted I decided I needed to be making jewelry. It's a slow climb, but it's my dream. I am still very much a beginner, which is why I am looking for a mentor. I've waited around here for one to come to me or find something in my area, but I am at the point that I am willing to up and leave if it means learning and getting me closer to my goals in life. As a jeweler who has been in my shoes before, you can understand my eagerness and enthusiasm, the long glittering jewelry road that is my life:) I love Native American, south western jewelry, turquoise...etc. not so much interested in fine jewelry. I'd like to be setting stones. Please contact me if you think we'd make a good fit.

Attached are photos of jewelry I crafted on my own. Rustic Blues Jewelry
